Parenting and Families: When you first become a parent there is no user manual and it is the scariest thing because you don’t know what you are doing. You have to be open to highs and lows that come with starting and raising a family. Our reality is the fact that we all age. Even us as parents get to a point where we are the aging parent.
How to care for aging parents? When we are children from the time we are born until we are self-sustaining, we are cared for by our parents. As we grow older we have this feeling or attitude that our parents are always going to be there for us and take care of us for the rest of our lives. Unfortunately, as we age so do our parents. And there will come a time when our roles will reverse and we have to take care of them and start parenting them!
