Tell me who does not play online games! Did you know that gamers spent 151.0 billion last year? That number is expected to rise to 2.725 billion. Gaming has exploded in recent years. We used to play really simple games on huge computers and we could not take them anywhere. Now though you can play games online on almost any digital device. Gaming has grown so much that they actually have conventions and competitions happening all over the world.
Online games have come a long way!!!
I remember going to places called arcades. We would put a quarter in and play a 2D game that would last about 1-5 minutes. Gaming has come a long way since then. Now it is so interactive that it makes you feel like you are in the actual game. There are stores where you can buy and trade different games. The graphics alone has improved so much that you can’t help but want to play some of them.
There are competitions and tournaments all over the world. Remember the Atari and the joystick? Imagine having to go to a tournament where you would use those. OMG it would either take forever or seconds before the winner would be announced. Now people play interactively all around this wonderful planet.
Back in the 1980s when the first computers were released, many were encouraged to develop their own little games. I believe the game DOGFIGHT was the first to use the internet halfway through that decade. As the internet and computers evolved so have the games. There are so many game publishers here and internationally that it would make it hard for someone to find games they would actually want to play.
Well, I think I have found the world’s largest online store for games for all types of computers. There are games for all genres and age groups at budget-friendly prices!
